The socio-political climate in the Philippines and COVID-19 continue to stir challenges for youth participation in government and civil society in the past years.

Young People’s Council PH is a capacity-building and fellowship program we developed to empower young people, especially of marginalized identities, to serve the country in their own way.

Through this initiative, we hope to:      

By building networks for active participation in democratic processes and capacitating the youth with the necessary skills to fight corruption and disinformation, we begin to reimagine governance and civil society leadership during these extraordinary times.
